Watercolor

I have always enjoyed watercolor for its transparency and permanence; unlike other forms of painting, mistakes cannot be easily painted over, and the brightest colors come from the paper rather than the paint. Watercolor rewards simplicity.  This medium continually challenges me to approach painting with spontaneity rather than perfectionism as a way to document and enjoy my travels and observations.
